EQT Real Estate invest in Paris real estate

EQT Real Estate has just acquired for more than 70 million euros a 13.600 sqm office building located at 28/34 rue du Château des Rentiers in the 13th district of Paris. This building, already completely rented, comprises of offices, a company restaurant and parking lots. The building was acquired from a subsidiary of Jerusalem Economic Corporation, listed company to the Tel Aviv stock exchange.

Jérémie Duhamel, Partner in charge of Investment Funds & Financial Services Practice, intervened on the structuring of the Organisme de Placement Collectif Immobilier (OPCI) and related regulatory aspects.

EQT was also advised by Ashurst LLP in Paris on the financing and property legislation aspects, by Lasaygues & Associés on the notarial aspects and by Arsene Taxand on the tax aspects. The transaction has been funded by Aareal Bank AG, itself advised by De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, Allez & Associés and Etoile Property Services.
