Real Estate Investment Fund: Internos Global Investors launches 2nd real estate investment fund

Internos Global Investors has recently launched a second hotel real estate fund after raising 133 M€ thanks to seven German institutional investors. The first hotel real estate fund, Hotel Fund I, was launched in 2012 and now consolidates 14 hotels, reaching an AUM of €500 million with an IRR of 14%.

Led by Jochen Schaefer-Suren, partner and manager of Internos Global Investors’ hotel and leisure division, this new fund shall also reach 500 M€ by late 2020 and realise new investments in Europe.

Internos Global Investors’ strategy focused on 3-4* city centre business hotels across Europe. Those establishments offer an attractive investment return post renovation, conversion or repositioning.

Jérémie Duhamel, Partner in charge of Investment Funds & Financial Services Practice, intervened on all the French law aspects and the fund structuring.

Elvinger Hoss Prussen law firm oversaw the Luxembourg law aspects, and the Paul Hasting law firm monitored the tax law issues.
